Oh, now, its not as bad as its sounds----especially after this morning's x-rays showed major improvement, but what a drag! Last week I took a nasty cough to my doctor and found I had pneumonia in my right lung, thus there was obviously no ankle surgery today. Just a visit back to my doc to see if the antibiotics had begun to fight the war. Good report. X-Rays looked remarkably better and now the surgery date is April 17th. A real drag to have another long month of waiting before my ankle can be corrected.. Been blue as Bessie Smith all this past week, but knowing I am on the mend cheered me up. Still have to take it easy but I'm told I can get back to swimming in a week. They obviously caught this virus early and hit it with all the torpedoes. Another month of waiting for surgery is A REAL drag but the positive report from my doctor has cheered me up enough to pop out a blog...
